Capturing Movement      There are many different strategies for creating the illusion of movement,  Make sure you label each picture and summarize the photo technique and the editing tools you used. Have fun and good luck! Take 10 photos using different movement techniques. Rememeber be creative and use a variety of different techniques. Each photo is assessed out of 9. Make sure you assess and document your strategies. Consider the following techniques: Panning (following the moving subject with the camera), slow shutter speed fast shutter speed, all these will give you a variety of different results. A slow shutter speed will give you a blur, a fast shutter speed will freeze your movement, a pan will give you a frozen object with a blurred background. The Study of Emotion Through Story Boarding      Emotionally packed photo's can tell a story and have a huge impact on how the viewer comprehends the photo. In this assignment you will come up with a theme that demonstrates a variety of emotions or moods. Keep in mind the following factors:  environmen t - By choosing the correct environment you can establish a setting. Lighting - lighting has a huge impact . Low and High keyed photos can influence mood as well. And of course Expression - facial expression and body language (posturing) can have a huge influence on how the viewer perceives your photo graphs. Assignment Take 20 photographs that are linked together using the above criteria. Try and tell a story using only photographs.
