Capturing Movement
    
There are many different strategies for creating the illusion of movement,  Make sure you label each picture and summarize the photo technique and the editing tools you used. Have fun and good luck!

Take 10 photos using different movement techniques. Rememeber be creative and use a variety of different techniques. Each photo is assessed out of 9. Make sure you assess and document your strategies.

Consider the following techniques: Panning (following the moving subject with the camera), slow shutter speed fast shutter speed, all these will give you a variety of different results. A slow shutter speed will give you a blur, a fast shutter speed will freeze your movement, a pan will give you a frozen object with a blurred background.

You may want to use a tripod, and a small aperture setting for anything at night.

Welcome to Photo 11-12 every one! This semester will be very busy so it is very important that we all work together. The first task that you will be doing is building a blog. The Blog is a communication tool that links you to me. All projects you do will be uploaded to this blog. I will mark all your projects on your blog. Sports Photography  In this assignment you will experiment with capturing the action and emotion of sports. Consider a variety of perspectives and camera angles to create interest or to capture the over all feeling in the activity. Be creative don't be afraid to create backgrounds that make the image more dynamic and interesting. Consider the skills you used in capturing movement.
